Offered for sale is a Coral and Charcoal 1955 2 door hard top. This car has been treated to a recent frame off restoration by Robert Adams in Argo, AL. The drivetrain is an LS1 out of a low mileage 2001 or 2002 Trans Am with a 4L60E automatic transmission. The rear end is out of an S-10 with 4 wheel disc brakes and slotted and drilled rotors on the front. The rear sway bars are also from an S-10 and the front are aftermarket. The power steering is a "500" unit which replace the old 605 used on TRI-5s and the wheels are Boyd Coddington 17" with Goodyear F-1 Eagles tires255/45 on rear and 235/45 up front. The interior is done in Grey leather with Coral inserts with power Chrysler 300 seats. The column in the car is a tilt "I DID IT" billet with Billet Specialties steering wheel. The gauges in the car are from Classic Industries and the console has been custom built with cup holders installed. The cooling system, core support, A.C. condenser, and cooling fans for the car are all made by PRC and come as a complete unit for LS applications in TRI-5s and the pulley system is from Concept 1. This car is brand new in every way and has great power and good fuel economy. We also have pictures of the car throughout the restoration process.
